The Nurse Clinician II is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting the daily care of assigned patients, executing physician's orders, and administering medications and treatments according to standards. This role also involves providing patient and family education, coordinating care activities, and maintaining safety and continuity of care through effective communication and delegation.
Candidates must possess a current Registered Nurse license or valid permit to practice in Texas, along with current BLS certification and a minimum of six months of clinical RN experience or successful completion of the probationary Nurse Clinician I period. The clinician must function as an Advanced Beginner, capable of meeting nursing standards without supervision while expanding knowledge in the specialty area.
Salary commensurate with experience. WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time, night shift.
