• Schedule created in six-week blocks NP will work 23 shifts per block Rounding shifts, cross cover shifts and swing shifts Coverage provided at Methodist, Methodist West and Lutheran hospitals Established, three campus team serving the Des Moines community Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

Average of 12-15 patients per day NP will practice autonomously and carry their own panel of patients No procedures and no codes Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certified Experience preferred Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of State Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice Eligible to work in the United States We offer Shift based compensation with performance incentive and RVU component A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.
