The Certified Medication Aide safely administers prescribed medications to residents following established protocols and regulatory guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all medication-related tasks. This role involves closely collaborating with nurses to monitor residents for adverse reactions and promptly reporting any findings.
include a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program, along with current state certification as required by Kansas. Candidates must also be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
