Performs specialized nursing services and clinical care in support of medical regimens. Provides professional nursing support within a post-acute care unit setting.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN or compact licensure in Vermont. Experience in gerontological nursing and supervision techniques is preferred.

Performs services requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and skill for carrying out the nursing regimen in support of medical care, based upon the principles of the biological, physiological, behavioral, and social sciences. Experience Gerontological nursing and knowledge of supervision techniques preferred. Able to read, write, and speak the English language. Demonstrate competence as a nursing practitioner. Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required. This is a bargaining union position. University of Vermont Health - Porter Medical Center is located in the heart of beautiful Middlebury, Vermont. We are comprised of a 25-bed acute care facility, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility which includes a memory care unit, short-term rehabilitation unit and a long-term care unit, and a network of primary care and specialty medical practices throughout Addison County and the town of Brandon.
