The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering physical therapy care to assigned patients and documenting that care in the medical record. They also provide consultation to clinics, instruct support staff, and may rotate through various clinical service areas.
Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia and have a graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program. Current CPR certification is also required if mandated by the clinic or practice area.
Schedules and work hours will be established with your specific Manager. Schedules, including weekends and holidays, will be required based on the unit’s organizational and staffing needs. Age Specific groups served: Pediatrics, Adolescence, Adults, Geriatrics Physical Requirements (includes use of assistance devices as appropriate): Physical - Lifting 50-100 lbs.
