The psychiatrist will conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for adult patients with dual diagnoses. Responsibilities also include participating in daily treatment team meetings and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
Candidates must possess an M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in General or Addiction Psychiatry and have completed an accredited General Psychiatry residency. Required experience includes working with Substance Abuse and Dual Diagnosis populations, along with holding or being eligible for a Georgia medical license and DEA.
General or Addiction Psychiatrist Location: Moultrie, GA Turning Point is one of the largest behavioral health systems in South Georgia allowing patients to transition between levels of care. Turning Point offers a full continuum of programs for adults with psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment issues. Treatment programs combine bio-psychosocial therapy with the 12-step recovery philosophy. Position Overview: Role: General Psychiatrist comfortable with Substance Abuse/Dual Diagnosis or Addiction Psychiatrist Patient Population: Adult Dual Diagnosis/ Substance Abuse Schedule:Flexible, 3-5 days a week on-site, daytime hours. Weekend and weeknight call - No call required Employment Type:Full-time employed part-time or full-time position, on-site only. Daily caseload - Negotiable Additional earnings potential: Extra call options and Productivity Bonus Plan. Position Highlights: Flexible employed Part-time (3 days a week) or Full-time (5 days a week) schedule with no call disruption allowing for the ultimate life/work balance.
