The Physical Therapist will plan, organize, and deliver therapy services focused on maintaining patient comfort, function, and quality of life within a hospice context, guiding patients and caregivers through supportive techniques and education. Essential functions include providing physical therapy services per the physician's plan of care, assessing functional status with a focus on comfort, and instructing the team and family on therapy techniques.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program and be licensed to practice in the state. Two years of relevant experience is preferred, along with current CPR certification and a licensed driver with an insured automobile.
