Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital; Fort Smith Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), Inpatient Rehabilitation, PRN Location: 6700 Chad Colley Boulevard, Fort Smith, AR 72916 Schedule: PRN | As Needed | 1 weekend (Saturday or Sunday) a month and at least 1 holiday a year.

We’re looking for a dedicated COTA to join our rehabilitation team and deliver hands‑on, patient‑centered care under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
What You’ll Do Support therapeutic interventions and guide patients through treatment activities.
Communicate progress, concerns, and observations to the OT and interdisciplinary team.
Teach families and nursing staff how to carry out follow‑through programs and home exercises.
Manage daily scheduling tasks and enter post‑treatment charges accurately.
Document patient care in alignment with regulatory, licensing, and payer requirements.
Keep treatment areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe.
Uphold all compliance, professional, and ethical standards.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative rehab environment.
What You Bring Active COTA license in the state of practice.
CPR certification.
Strong communication, time‑management, and clinical documentation skills.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (preferred).
A commitment to high‑quality care and teamwork.
