Under the direction of an RN Preceptor, the graduate nurse performs delegated nursing care activities based on demonstrated competence and conducts comprehensive patient assessments covering biophysical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. They are also responsible for developing patient/family education plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring timely documentation.
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible to practice as determined by the State Board of Nursing, with less than one year of RN experience required. Essential requirements include obtaining Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification and successfully passing the NCLEX within specified timeframes depending on the work location.
