The Nurse Tech I provides quality patient care dependent on physician orders or RN/LPN direction, delivering nursing interventions based on professional judgment and promoting restorative health using the nursing process. Core duties include collecting, monitoring, and reporting patient information, responding to basic needs, and promoting continuity of care by reporting to the next caregiver.
The role requires the candidate to be a student currently enrolled in the first semester of an accredited ADN/BSN RN program working towards nursing licensure. Essential competencies include CPR Certification, Accu-chek usage, preventive skin care, and aseptic wound care/dressing changes.

Student nurse (1st semester) assisting with basic patient care under RN/LPN direction on 1W.
• Enrolled in ADN/BSN; 1st semester.
• CPR certification.
