The trainee will complete required initial training courses in Mammography and Tomosynthesis, followed by hands-on training to prepare for the ARRT mammography registry exam. Upon certification, the individual will become a full-time Mammography Technologist, participating in assigned tasks and meetings.
Candidates must possess a current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification, along with BLS certification from the American Heart Association. A keen interest and ability to learn advanced procedures like Tomosynthesis and biopsies are essential for success in this trainee role.
