The Certified Nurse Midwife will independently manage and provide full-scope midwifery care, including comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services in the outpatient clinic. Responsibilities also include providing day-to-day expertise and leadership on Labor & Delivery, triaging emergent obstetric patients, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Candidates must possess experience managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting, with two years preferred, and must hold current RN and APRN licenses in Florida. Required certifications include BLS by the start date, and active certification with AMCB, while NRP and additional specialized certifications are preferred.
Experience in managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting (2 yrs experience preferred) Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative OB/CNM practice Strong communication skills and intrapersonal skills Value patient preferences/choice, shared decision making, and a holistic care approach Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (preferred, not required) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date Active certification with AMCB Current RN and APRN license in FL Additional certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and/or Lactation consultation are preferred
