We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with all healthcare professionals to provide exceptional ambulatory quality healthcare to our patients. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring patient comfort, managing schedules, and keeping accurate records.
Set up equipment, instruments, and forms according to department protocol. Maintain infection control standards by cleaning and sterilizing according to scheduled maintenance program. Keep appropriate records, order, sort, store supplies, and restock exam/procedure rooms. Maintain monthly par-levels of all supplies and medications i. e. , workstations, exam, and storage rooms. Check schedules, continually assessing and organizing patient flow. Report to appropriate personnel any delays in a patient's visit from entry to exit.
Completed training from an accredited Medical Assistant Program with a certificate or diploma in Medical Assisting or Phlebotomy. CPR certification will be required New Grads are welcomed. Prior experience working in a medical office or clinic is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical procedures. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
