The specialist improves patient quality of life by delivering comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in their area of expertise to ensure optimal medication use and effective resource management. This role involves working collaboratively with the healthcare team to manage medication orders, prepare sterile products, and contribute to departmental goals.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree, along with a minimum of a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency or three years of equivalent clinical experience. Essential skills include advanced communication, computer literacy, high-level cognitive ability for medication assessment, and teaching skills for precepting.
Improves patient's quality of life by providing comprehensive clinical services to patients in area of expertise to ensure optimal medication use and effective resource management, while considering pharmacoeconomic principles across the healthcare system. Works in collaboration with health care team members to accomplish goals. Performs other duties as assigned.
