The Registered Dental Hygienist provides essential oral hygiene services, including cleanings, preventive care, and periodontal maintenance, while also assisting with restorative procedures for patients at the health center. Key duties involve performing oral health assessments, educating patients on hygiene, and maintaining strict infection control and electronic records.
Candidates must be graduates from an accredited Dental Hygiene program and hold a current state license to practice. Required qualifications include proficiency in chairside assisting, strong understanding of dental terminology, and knowledge of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques.
The Registered Dental Hygienist is responsible for providing oral hygiene services, preventive care, periodontal maintenance, and restorative support to patients of the health center.
