Technicians will collaborate with doctors to deliver gold standard, emotionally intelligent care across a wide range of emergency cases, handling everything from triage and treatments to advanced diagnostics and anesthesia monitoring. A key part of the role involves remaining a steady, compassionate presence for pet parents during stressful moments while utilizing advanced technical skills.
Candidates must be credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in Texas and typically require a high school diploma, with an associate’s degree from an AVMA accredited program strongly preferred. A minimum of one year of experience in a veterinary technician role is required, preferably in emergency or specialty medicine.
