As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will collaborate with doctors to deliver gold standard care across a wide range of emergency cases, handling everything from triage and diagnostics to anesthesia and critical care nursing. Key duties include providing direct patient care, administering treatments like IVs and blood transfusions, and offering compassionate emotional support to pet parents during stressful situations.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate’s degree from an AVMA accredited program strongly preferred, and must be credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in Utah. A minimum of one year of experience in a veterinary technician role is required, preferably in emergency or specialty medicine, alongside excellent communication skills and the physical ability to handle demanding tasks.

As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you’re part of a team that thrives on the front lines of emergency veterinary care where every second counts. You’ll handle a wide range of cases, from minor to complex emergencies, collaborating with our doctors and team in delivering gold standard, emotionally intelligent care.
