Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed therapist to help patients regain daily living independence. Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff while documenting patient progress and treatment plans.
Requires an Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and a current state license. Previous experience in occupational therapy or rehabilitation is preferred.
Carry out OT treatment plans. Instruct patients in adaptive equipment and self-care. Document services and report progress to OT. Collaborate with therapy and nursing staff. Qualifications Associate’s Degree from accredited OTA program. Current state license. Experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- KSAs Knowledge of OT activities. Ability to follow OT instructions. Strong communication skills. Physical & Environmental Requirements Lifting, standing, walking, bending. Healthcare and LTC facility environment.
