The primary responsibility involves taking radiologic films to provide quality images for physicians to aid in diagnosing medical problems. This includes preparing and positioning patients, accurately selecting exposure factors, and administering contrast media or medications as permitted.
Candidates must obtain a BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire and the ARRT credential in Radiography within 180 days of hire. Minimum education requires a High School diploma/equivalency with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
