The Licensed Practical Nurse, in collaboration with an RN, performs essential functions including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating assigned patient care within the Opioid Treatment Program. This role involves administering prescribed treatments, maintaining accountability records, performing intake processes, and participating in team meetings for client management.
Candidates must graduate from an accredited LPN training program, including pharmacology, and possess a minimum of six months of clinical nursing experience with all age groups. Required credentials include a current Indiana LPN license or eligibility, and current CPR certification, along with specific training for managing therapeutic services for patients receiving Opioid treatment medication.
Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center's primary mission is to serve individuals with serious mental illness and chronic addiction as well as seriously emotionally disturbed children and their families. Patients of all ages are welcomed, from children to seniors, with a philosophy of care that stresses strength-based and family- and community-centered treatment utilizing the Recovery Model of treatment.
