The physician will provide medical services to patients in an assigned area, evaluating and treating them using appropriate diagnostic and treatment skills, and coordinating discharge planning with case management. Responsibilities also include recommending efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care, accepting referrals, and acting as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician when hospitalization is required.
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology and hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, obtained prior to the hire date. Advanced Life Support is preferred, and credentials must be verified by the local staff credentialing office.

Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
