The nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing invasive procedures, including assisting the Physician and closely monitoring the patient during these interventions. Essential functions involve conducting initial and ongoing patient assessments, performing PICC and/or Midline insertions, and monitoring or assisting with various procedures like biopsies, drain placements, and injections.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing, with a BSN preferred, and hold a current valid RN license in the state of employment, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. A minimum of 12 months of Critical Care experience is required, while PICC Competency, PACU, and IR experience are preferred.
