The Residential Camp Nurse is responsible for all aspects of nursing care, including medication administration, first aid, camper health assessments, and emergency care for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. This role also involves implementing agency policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing necessary staff training on medical issues.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN) and a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, holding a current State of CT RN License, with 3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably serving individuals with developmental disabilities. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and participation in emergency lifts and transfers.
Duties: and Responsibilities:
Schedule: Duty begins at 12pm on Mondays and will end at 3pm on Fridays (6-week program)
Harkness Park - Waterford, CT
$15,000 as bi-weekly installments throughout the 6-week period.
