The Certified Nursing Assistant performs essential nursing procedures, monitors patient vital signs, and assists residents with daily living activities. They ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities.
Candidates must hold a current State of CT CNA license, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds are required for this role.
The Arc Eastern Connecticut has been providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for more than 60 years. Will present staff in-services relating to medications and nursing issues. They will ensure compliance with all state and regulatory reporting requirements.
Ensures confidentiality as required by Law, The Arc ECT, and DDS policies and procedures which includes keeping records, conversations, correspondence (regarding program participants and staff) confidential.
