The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for performing patient care and service activities according to the state board of nursing regulations and the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. All assigned duties must be carried out under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Candidates must have completed the necessary education and experience to obtain CNA Certification from the Nevada State Board of Nursing, along with holding a current CNA license in Nevada and current BLS certification. Applicants must also demonstrate the required knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care for the age group served on their assigned unit.
Responsible for performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. Performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
