The physician will join a team of six Neonatologists and eleven Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to provide care in a 48-bed Level III NICU, handling approximately 230 NICU admissions annually. Responsibilities include participating in dedicated neonatal and obstetric air and ground transport services and collaborating with various pediatric subspecialties.
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology to join this quality-oriented team in Urbana, Illinois. The role involves active participation in quality improvement networks and offers opportunities for academic or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.

We offer the region's only Level III perinatal services, with neonatologists, obstetricians, nurses and other experts staffing our 48-bed neonatal ICU 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our transport teams are also on call 24/7, ready to transport high-risk expectant and new mothers, and premature and critically ill newborns to our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit via air or ground ambulance.
