The Anesthesia Technician assists all anesthesiology patient-care providers by performing daily stocking of supplies and non-controlled medications, removing used items, cleaning equipment, and managing outdated stock across all serviced locations. This role involves collaborating with colleagues in Anesthesiology, OR, and EVS to ensure equipment functionality and optimize OR turnover time for efficient scheduling.
A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required, though a Trade School Surgical Technician certification is preferred. Candidates must possess one year of experience along with knowledge of anesthesia-related equipment and daily supply stocking procedures. Membership in the American Society of Anesthesia Tech is preferred.
