The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care, administering prescribed treatments and medications. Responsibilities also include ensuring accurate documentation, developing individualized patient care plans, providing patient/family education, and participating in performance improvement activities.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program, requiring an ADN upon hire with a BSN preferred, and must hold a current RN license in the state of practice, along with obtaining approved BLS certification within 90 days. Specific physical demands vary by unit, but all roles require adherence to behavioral expectations regarding quality, service, partnering, and cost management.
