The role involves providing person-centered services to individuals with serious mental illness to aid in their recovery and community integration by developing and implementing Individual Recovery Plans. This includes educating individuals and families about the recovery process and facilitating access to community resources.
Candidates must self-identify personal experience with Addiction Recovery or co-occurring services and possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Successful completion of the Certified Recovery Specialist Training and Certification Program, along with required state clearances, is mandatory.
