The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures on patients of all ages for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes using MRI scanners and power injectors. Core duties include performing advanced competencies, leading daily department huddles, and assisting with policy review and workflow coordination.
Candidates must be highly experienced and proficient in advanced modality competencies, possessing thorough knowledge of technical standards and health system policies. Required credentials include ARRT or NMTCB Certification, ARRT-MRI, BLS, and either a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience or at least 6 years of experience in lieu of the degree.
