The Certified Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for daily tasks including refilling and maintaining automated dispensing systems, filling medication carts, and preparing orders. Key duties also involve managing drug inventory, repackaging bulk medications, and compounding sterile and hazardous products according to established procedures.
Candidates must possess current CPhT standing and State Board of Pharmacy Registration, with successful completion of the National Certification Examination required within six months of hire. Preferred qualifications include institutional pharmacy or medical experience, along with strong critical thinking skills necessary to work effectively with minimal supervision in potentially stressful environments.
