The Occupational Therapist is primarily responsible for providing direct patient care, including planning and implementing specific treatment programs tailored to individual patients based on occupational therapy principles. The role also involves contributing to the further development of services and maintaining flexibility across various facilities within the system.
Candidates must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the facility is located and possess current BLS certification. One year of clinical experience is preferred, along with a commitment to caring for chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care.
The Occupational Therapist will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs in an age appropriate manner for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health System. The Occupational Therapist will additionally be involved in the further development of the services. The Occupational Therapist must be flexible to meet the needs of the System within many different facilities.
Education and Training: Licensed as OT in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
