The Assistant-Patient Care provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel, performing direct patient care duties as assigned. They also assist with patient procedures, ensure patient safety, and participate in ongoing educational activities.
Candidates must demonstrate skill in clear and effective written, oral, and verbal communication using standard English, along with legible handwriting for accurate record-keeping. A minimum requirement is obtaining BLS certification within 14 days of hire, with computer literacy being a preferred skill.
Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.
