The Physical Therapist will provide physical therapy services based on a physician's plan of care, which includes assessing patient status, developing rehabilitation programs, and directing patients and caregivers in the use of therapeutic appliances. Key duties also involve reporting patient reactions to treatment, participating in discharge planning, and supervising PTAs when applicable.
Candidates must possess an active physical therapy license in Indiana and a degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate) from an accredited program, along with current CPR certification and a recent TB test. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or home health, along with reliable transportation for required travel.
Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other areas preferred. Two years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist preferred. Community/home health experience is preferred. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle physical workload. Ability to build rapport with patients. Strong leadership qualities.
