The Medical Assistant performs patient services including phlebotomy, obtaining EKGs, and applying bandages. They prepare and maintain examination areas and assist with patient care as needed.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required along with Medical Assistant certification or EMT certification. CPR certification is also required, with emergency department experience preferred.
The Driver/Courier is responsible for operating hospital owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner. Provide patient transportation services for Riverside Health Care System, Inc. Transports equipment and supplies mail, medical waste/money to all Riverside Health Care System, Inc. sites. Responsible for the Maintenance of vehicles conditions. Notify Supervisor of Transportation of any license changes: summonses, accidents, revocations or suspensions.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Valid Driver’s License in New York State, Connecticut, or New Jersey. Completion of Certified Driver Safety Course. Driver’s record must be reviewed by the Asst. Vice President for violations and patterns.
