The Certified Nursing Assistant performs nursing procedures and patient care tasks while ensuring compliance with state and regulatory requirements. They assist residents with daily living activities and communicate observations to the nursing team.
Candidates should have prior experience working with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities and possess a valid CNA license. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with basic computer skills and proficiency in English.
The Arc Eastern Connecticut has been providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for more than 60 years. We actively champion for full community inclusion and are a licensed and contracted service provider of the Connecticut Department of Development Services. We provide residential, daytime, employment, and social supports to people with IDD and their families. Come join our team!
Schedule: Sat-Sun 7am-3pm

Will present staff in-services relating to medications and nursing issues. They will ensure compliance with all state and regulatory reporting requirements.
Ensures confidentiality as required by Law, The Arc ECT, and DDS policies and procedures which includes keeping records, conversations, correspondence (regarding program participants and staff) confidential.
