The role involves providing high-quality healthcare through direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan formulation for acute and chronic illnesses, including performing histories and physicals. Responsibilities also include performing health maintenance services, patient education, referring specialty consultations, and documenting all care according to medical/legal standards.
Candidates must graduate from an ANA-approved NP or AMA-approved PA training program, or have equivalent requirements for State licensure, and must obtain credentials for both Oregon and Washington within six months of hire. Required credentials include RN/NP/PA licenses in both states, National Certificates, and NPI/DEA registrations.
Provide high quality health care to Kaiser Permanente members in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with accepted professional practice standards.
