The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. This role involves providing direct patient care, guiding patient/family teaching, directing other nursing personnel, and communicating critical changes in patient condition to physicians.
Candidates must possess a current and valid state RN License and current BLS certification upon hire. ACLS certification, previous Acute Care hospital experience, Ventilator Management experience, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing are preferred qualifications.
The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, meets the communication needs of the patient and family under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Must have a current and valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse issued by the State of California. BCLS upon hire and maintain current. IV certification, within 2 months of hire date. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
