The Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process to care for adult psychiatric patients, maintaining accurate records, documenting comprehensive assessments, and initiating plans of care in collaboration with care providers. This role also involves demonstrating proficiency as a charge nurse, acting as a resource person for staff, and participating in quality improvement and committee activities.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing, currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts, and possess Basic Life Support Certification. Successful passage of the Psychiatric Pharmacology exam and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within three months are mandatory, with psychiatric experience and a BSN preferred.
