The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within their scope of practice, meeting the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care for telemetry patients. This role involves supporting the specialized needs of patients requiring continuous heart activity monitoring while working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Candidates must possess a current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, along with current BLS and IV certifications upon hire. The role requires assisting patients who need continuous monitoring of heart activity and vital signs in the hospital's Telemetry unit.
