The coordinator assumes primary responsibility for the renal preservation process, including pumping and transport, and performs extensive on-call duties to assist with donor recovery activities. They will coordinate and assist in the surgical recovery, preservation, packaging of organs, and manage organ allocation, distribution, and transportation.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree preferred, and one to two years of OPO or healthcare experience required, with operating room experience being preferred. Health-related certification and ISOP Level 1 must be obtained by the end of the first year.

Tennessee Donor Services is seeking a Surgical Recovery Coordinator (surgical technologist) in Knoxville to save and enhance lives through the surgical removal, preservation, packaging, and distribution of organs.
