The MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures using scanners and power injectors to produce cross-sectional and 3D images for licensed practitioners' interpretation, while also fulfilling duties comparable to an MRI Technologist II. Responsibilities include leading department huddles, assisting with protocol revisions, coordinating workflow for assigned shifts, and acting as a clinical or technical resource.
Candidates must be highly experienced and proficient in advanced modality competencies, possessing thorough knowledge of technical standards, policies, and imaging equipment. Required qualifications include Certification by ARRT or NMTCB, ARRT-MRI, BLS, and either a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience or at least 6 years of experience in lieu of the degree.
