The Staff Nurse performs nursing services within Outreach clinics, providing health education and patient counseling to promote optimum health and well-being. This role involves assessing patient health care requirements, assisting physicians, developing care interventions, and coordinating continuity of care through referrals.
Candidates must possess a minimum of twelve months of clinical experience in Behavioral Health and a minimum of 12 months of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse, holding a current Indiana RN License. Essential abilities include strong skills in nursing assessment, teaching, counseling, and effective interpersonal communication, along with knowledge of disease processes and community resources.
