The Occupational Therapist assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs designed to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity resulting from disease or injury. This role involves implementing evidence-based care plans and educating patients and caregivers to ensure active participation in continuing activities at home.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and must obtain a Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Florida and a BLS for Healthcare Providers certification upon hire. Required abilities include excellent communication, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate others.
