The Medical Assistant assists with patient care management, executing administrative and clinical procedures while providing exceptional care meeting physical, mental, and emotional needs. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs selected nursing acts in the care of the ill, injured, or infirm patient under the direction of a Physician.
Candidates must meet qualifications for either Medical Assistant (including certification/registration and specific knowledge areas) or LPN (including graduation from an accredited program and Florida licensure). Both roles require flexibility for various shifts, potential overtime, and mandatory availability during severe weather events.
The Licensed Practical Nurse performs selected nursing acts in the care of the ill, injured, or infirm patient under the direction of the Physician. The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
