The Speech Pathologist evaluates, plans, and administers medically prescribed speech and language therapy treatment, diagnosing and treating speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. This role involves implementing care plans using evidence-based modalities to help patients achieve functional goals and includes coordinating test results and providing patient and family education.
A Master's Degree in Communication Science & Disorder, Speech and Hearing, or Speech and Language is required for this position. Candidates must also possess a Florida State Speech Pathologist License (or Provisional License) and current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification upon hire.

The Speech Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders. This position implements care plan through the use of evidenced based modalities and skilled interventions to increase patients' ability to achieve mutually established functional goals. This position coordinates clinical test results with other diagnostic data, provides prognosis, develops treatment plan, and provides patient and family education.
