The Occupational Therapist assumes responsibility for patient care, including supervising assistants and students, and is responsible for assessing patient needs and initiating appropriate occupational therapy interventions. This role involves observing and evaluating treatment effectiveness, recommending changes as needed, and performing accurate patient assessments per policy.
Candidates must possess current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of employment and current CPR/BLS certification. Previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy is preferred but not required, and effective oral and written communication skills in English are necessary.
