Practice Details: Clinic facilities: 8 exam rooms and 1 treatment room.
One medical assistant or registered nurse per physician, primary care nurse case manager, nurse triage, and radiology technician.
Ancillary services include Mammogram, X‑ray, and onsite laboratory services.
Patient Volume: 12-17 patients per day in clinic, plus 4 hours of administrative time weekly.
EMR and tools include Meditech, Dragon Dictation, and DAX AI assisted documentation.
Procedure opportunities: Routine primary care, skin/endometrial biopsies, joint injections, casting, IUDs, Nexplanon, and suturing.
Additional Care Opportunities: Possible rotation at the Klukwan Health Center, 20 miles outside of Haines.
Occasional long-term care and home visits.
Optional involvement in rural outreach or consultative support.
Qualifications
MD or DO with active/unrestricted Alaska medical license or ability to obtain license. Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine. Unrestricted DEA.
