The Medical Assistant is responsible for collecting patient information, performing clerical and environmental tasks, and assisting providers with directed patient care in the clinic setting. Key duties include obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy, administering injections, assisting in minor surgeries, and managing medical records and scheduling.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, obtain AHA RQI certification within 14 days, and secure Medical Assistant certification/registration within 60 days of starting. Specific clinic roles may also require a valid USA driver's license and a clean driving record.
