The caregiver will assist a male client with mid-stage dementia with hands-on support for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). Responsibilities also include providing supervision, companionship, cognitive engagement, medication reminders, and reporting any changes in condition to staff and family.
Candidates must be compassionate, patient, and dependable, preferably holding a CNA or PCA certification along with CPR/First Aid certification and a current TB test. Experience working with dementia clients, including the ability to provide calm redirection, is strongly preferred, as is reliable transportation.
